Family Weekend

June 5–7, 2026

There’s nothing like camp in the summer — but Family Weekend comes close.

Each June, before our campers arrive, we open the gates for prospective & enrolled families to experience K&E for themselves. It’s a chance to spend a few days living the camp rhythm: bunking in cabins, sharing family-style meals in the Dining Hall, and gathering around the campfire under the stars.

Families swim in the lake, climb the ropes course, and join pick-up games on the fields. Kids get to show their parents their camp world, and parents discover the magic that makes K&E a special place.

It’s fun, relaxed, and unforgettable — filled with all the traditions that make summers here so special.

Come ready for:

• Camp classics like kickball, milk & cookies, campfires, and s’mores
• Big events like relays, rope burning, and evening campfire shows
• Choice & adventure with activities from tubing and paddleboarding to arts & crafts and climbing
• Time together — in bunks, around meals, etc

By Sunday morning, you’ll head home with tired smiles, sandy shoes, and a deeper sense of what makes this place so meaningful.
