Evergreen For Girls

Girls are navigating a modern world crammed with increased expectations, societal pressures, and constant comparison. They must be confident yet careful. To stand out while fitting in. To balance independence with connection.

What they rarely find are spaces built just for them. Camp Evergreen remains one of these places.

Since 1950, Evergreen has been a place for 8-15 year old girls to discover strengths they knew they had but hadn’t put on display while forming friendships that last through all phases of life.

Camp confidence doesn’t come from stylized perfection. It lives with trying hard, supporting each other, and realizing that strength was there all along.

Evergreen is a close-knit community. Your daughters spend summers with staff who understand the spark in their personality and the goals they set for themselves.

One-of-a-kind attention like this Everwood girls the rare opportunity to take chances, level up their resiliency, and feel proud of how they walk through the world.

Weeks of sports, arts, outdoor adventure, and classic K&E traditions mean a summer of all-out energy and genuine kindness. They share campfires, Color War, and celebrations with Kenwood, uniting camp while keeping Evergreen’s sisterhood strong.

Summers here don’t just give girls memories.

They give them the confidence, compassion, and resilience to carry into the rest of their lives.

“Summers are some of the most important weeks in a child’s life. Facing challenges. Growing confidence. Forming friendships. Building independence. K&E summers don’t just create memories. They shape the kind of person your child will become.”

The EVERGREEN Experience

At Evergreen, girls find their bridesmaids, not their boyfriends.

That line has been around for decades because it still captures what Evergreen is all about. Lasting friendships, confidence, and connection that carries far beyond the summer.

Camp is full of energy and laughter. Days are busy, a little wild, and always fun.

EVERGREEN ROLE MODELS

At Evergreen, role models are present in every part of the day.

Counselors play sports alongside campers, steady the belay, teach the water-ski start, and stick around when it takes a few tries. They set high expectations and match them with high support.

That looks like a pump-up talk before a jump into the lake, a quiet check-in on the lodge porch, or a shoulder when a hard moment hits.

EVERGREEN LODGES

Evergreen girls stay in lodges. Big, welcoming buildings designed for comfort and connection.

Each lodge holds two to four bunks, with the entire age group living together under one roof. Every bunk has its own bathroom, and just outside is a shared living room where girls gather to play games, talk, and unwind.

The lodges give Evergreen a different energy. Cozy, social, and full of laughter.

EVERGREEN TRADITIONS

At Evergreen, traditions are part of the core fabric. They’re a reminder of confidence and connection.

Each summer begins with the Tater Tots exchange, a camp-wide pen pal game where every girl writes to a mystery friend and tries to guess who it is.

There’s Juniper Day, Pine Cone Club, and campfires that open and close the season with stories, songs, and reflection.
