Special Events & Trips
Weekends at K&E bring a change of pace and a lot of excitement. The camp takes on new energy with big, creative events that everyone looks forward to.
Gold Rush turns the fields into a mix of competition and fun, with campers collecting gold and trading it in a senior-run casino.
Hollowpalooza is our camp music festival. Kids form bands, rehearse, and perform for the whole community.
Carnival is built from the ground up by staff, complete with games, booths, and camp-style food.
And every summer is all about new surprises: themed competitions, mystery nights, and twists that keep the whole camp guessing.
These events are part of what makes camp feel special and new every year. Summers are familiar, but the special events give each summer its own flavor.
TRIPS
Trips are a major part of growing up at K&E.
Younger campers start on the smaller side with nearby with hikes, canoe outings, and overnight campouts.
As they get older, of course, the adventures bigger. Those might include hiking Mount Washington, rafting the Kennebec River, exploring Acadia National Park, or heading to Montreal with their age group.
Each trip is planned for the right level of challenge, made to make memories, with campers coming back with new skills, stronger friendships, and a sense of pride in what they accomplished together.
