Children are personally known through the close attention and care they receive from the moment they arrive. Counselors review confidential information to understand each child’s unique needs and preferences before setting up their bed and bunk space. As campers step off the bus, they are welcomed by cheering counselors who help them find their bunk and meet their counselors, creating an immediate sense of belonging. Throughout the summer, their dedicated bunk counselors accompany campers to activities, fostering strong relationships. Administrative staff engage with campers regularly, offering guidance and support.  At Kenwood & Evergreen, every child is seen, heard, and valued, making them feel personally known and cared for.

At Kenwood & Evergreen, we create a place where every child truly belongs. Our Big Sibling program is a perfect example of this, pairing one of our oldest campers with one of our youngest, fostering a sense of mentorship and connection from the start. The camp is filled with opportunities for every camper to take center stage, helping them feel valued, recognized, and excel in what they love. Whether it’s a camper taking the lead in a play, scoring a goal and celebrating with their team, or performing in Hollowpalooza (Our annual music festival) each moment reinforces their sense of belonging. Beyond artistic and sporting achievements, we also honor campers who exemplify true friendship, because at Kenwood & Evergreen, belonging means being recognized for who you are, not just for what you can do.

We offer a diverse program to ensure every camper has an unforgettable and enriching experience. Our sports offers everything from soccer to tennis, where campers can improve their skills through friendly competition and competitive tournaments. For those with a creative flair, our arts program provides opportunities in woodworking, ceramics, music, and more, allowing campers to express themselves and develop new talents. Our waterfront is the heart of camp life, with swimming, water sports and fishing on our private lake. For adventure seekers, our rock climbing wall and zip line offer exciting challenges, while our progressive overnight hikes and canoe trips let campers explore the beauty of NH, with each trip becoming more challenging as they grow up with us.

Our campers and staff come from all over the world, creating a rich, diverse, and vibrant community. We proudly welcome campers from over 15 states across the U.S., including New York, Massachusetts, Texas, Florida, and California, as well as from 6 different countries, bringing together a wide range of cultures and experiences.

To make your journey to camp as easy as possible, we offer bus services from both New York and Massachusetts, ensuring a smooth ride straight to camp. For those flying, we provide chaperone services from major hubs in Texas, Florida, and California, so you’re never alone. If you’re coming from any other state, our staff will meet your child at Boston Logan Airport and provide door-to-door service to camp! No matter where you’re from, we make sure getting to Kenwood & Evergreen is easy, fun, and stress-free.

K&E is deeply rooted in tradition and a culture of growth and connection. Over 50% of our bunk counselors grew up as campers themselves, ensuring a continuity of values and a strong sense of family. Our ceremonial campfires, traditional awards, and age-group traditions create lasting memories and a sense of belonging for each camper. With over 100 staff members returning for summer 2025, we are proud to continue fostering the same rich traditions year after year.

Our program is designed to grow with your child, offering them the opportunity to develop new skills and confidence at every stage. We also create whole-camp, mixed-age activities that encourage campers to interact across age groups and genders, helping them become comfortable navigating diverse social situations. By the end of the summer, your camper will leave feeling like the best version of themselves—confident, capable, and part of a lifelong community.
