Welcoming Family and Friends to Our Summer Camp in NH
July 26, 2014
We are very excited to welcome our friends and family to our summer camp in NH tomorrow
Tomorrow, sometime after 9am, about 1,200 parents, grandparents and siblings of our current campers’ will be arriving at our summer camp in NH. Our very happy campers are eagerly anticipating seeing so many loved ones. If you need a copy of tomorrow’s schedule please click here. Below is also a map of our campus, which will enlarge when you click on it.
Lunchtime at Camp
Chef Leonard and his team have been working hard to make tomorrow’s Visiting Day lunch our best ever. Below is the menu he has planned. We will begin to call up families to the dining hall at 12:30pm. Families with members who eat a gluten free, dairy free, or egg free diet please note that we will happily be providing lunches as well. Chef Keira will be located on the front porch of the dining hall, ready to assist anyone in need of a GF or allergen-free meal. As always, we want to be a safe summer camp for kids (and relatives) with allergies!
Please remember that we are a peanut and tree-nut free campus, and be sure that anything that you bring into camp does not contain these ingredients.
Camp Car Magnets
We have a new Camp magnet for your car! When you stop by the office to re-enroll for next summer please feel free to grab one for the cars in your household. Thanks!
Campers Departing on Visiting Day
If your child will be departing from Camp tomorrow we ask that you spend as much of the day with us as you can. We want to make sure that your child has the opportunity to introduce you to his or her new friends, counselors, and favorite activities at Camp. Most 4-week campers will begin the journey home between 3:30-4:00pm. Your child’s luggage will be inside at the loading dock, located behind the dining hall, starting at 3:30pm. You will be able to drive your car directly to this location for easy loading of your child’s belongings. To reach the loading dock please use the Camp entrance located next to the Gym. Travel down the road until you reach the garage doors on the back side of the dining hall. Your child’s baggage will be waiting there for you.
Please consider making a plan with the bunk counselors early in the day to meet back at the cabin or lodge, so that your child’s peers will know when to be on hand to say goodbye until next summer (or the reunions this winter!).
