Drop Off: Saturday, July 11 at 2:00 PM
Pick Up: Friday, July 17 at 2:00 PM OR Saturday, July 18 during Visiting Day if you have another camper attending a Full or 1st Half session.
Rookie Week gives younger campers a comfortable, week-long introduction to Camps Kenwood & Evergreen. It’s a chance to “try camp” — to explore activities across every department, experience our community spirit, and see what makes overnight camp so meaningful.
We keep this program intentionally small — just seven campers per side — and pair them with our most nurturing, experienced staff to ensure every child feels supported, known, and confident from day one.
It’s a safe, joyful, and enriching way to discover whether camp feels like the right fit — and for most, it’s just the beginning of something lifelong.
