Check Out Some Of Our Amazing Summer Camp Movies
It’s hard to describe how incredible a summer at Kenwood and Evergreen is. Each day our campers take part in fantastic sports, visual and performing arts, water sports, and outdoor adventure activities. We also work on teaching our campers crucial 21st century skills like independence, resilience, collaboration, and critical thinking. We invite you to look at some of our favorite moments and projects that we captured on video this summer.
Kenwood’s Jell-O Wrestling
We have a lot of silly fun at our summer camp in NH. One of our campers’ favorite things we do is an amazing special event called Jell-O Wrestling. Take a look as our campers howl with laughter while they wrestle in about 800 lbs of Jell-O!
Our Amazing Color War
Color War is beloved part of our summer experience. Campers have the opportunity to participate in a higher level of sports competition, while remaining in our supportive, friendly community. We invite you to check out these clips and interviews from our summer 2014 Color War.
Polar Bear Swim
At it’s core, our camp is about developing friendships that will last a lifetime. Children choose Kenwood and Evergreen because it is a place where they can be their best selves. Being confident and adventuresome is easy when you know that your friends will always support you.
Jumping Off Of Our Zip Line
Our nurturing, intentional summer camp community teaches campers how to take healthy risks. A great example of this it at our ropes course. Take a look as Alejandro rides our zip line 60 ft in the air!
CampsK&E Newscast
We have an incredible art department with studios for digital photography, ceramics, film making, rustic furniture building, traditional camp arts and crafts, and cooking. This summer a group of our campers wrote, directed, starred in and edited a weekly video newsmagazine about life at our brother-sister summer camp. This is something that you really need to see!
Exploring, a video by our campers
In our film department our campers learn to collaborate with their friends to create interesting, creative projects. Here is one made by a group of senior girls this summer.
Jammin’ in the music room
Hollowpallooza is our annual music festival, and it’s one of the most popular events of the year here. Campers and counselors spend 5 weeks practicing together to create some pretty impressive music. Take a look at a last minute rehearsal by some of our boys.
Evergreen Rope Burning
In all of our color war no event is more beloved than rope burning. Campers work together in a race to burn a rope suspended 10 ft in the air. The entire camp turns out to cheer and support our oldest campers as they participate in this incredible rite of passage. Come see the spirit of our camp in action.
