Camp reunions all over the world remind us camp friends are forever!
January 20, 2016
Our summer camp community really loves being together. The friendships made at our brother-sister summer camp run deep, and seem to last forever.
Just last weekend we hosted our 16th annual Senior Camper Winter Weekend in NH, and on January 30th we are excited to hang out with our campers, counselors, camp parents and alumni at the Chelsea Piers in Stamford, CT for our annual Tri-State area reunion. But these are by far not the only camp reunions in the K&E world this month!
Last Thursday Walshy, Josh and Sean left on a trip to the UK to interview our potential new counselors, coaches and teachers in person. In between their meetings they spent a ton of time with camp counselors from 2015, and many years past.
Look at everybody who they saw! Lewis, George, Harriet, Chelsea, Amy, Adam Meg, Jonno, Jordan, Lanni, Jake, Ben Adams and even Eddie! Arden and Logan are studying in England for the semester, so they were fortunate to hang out with so many of their camp friends, too!
But they weren’t the only ones in the K&E community making time to be with their beloved camp friends. The Gutkins had a huge gathering of Evergreen girls at their apartment in NYC, including Sydney, Amy, Sophie, Caroline and Emilia. Piano Phil and Catherine couldn’t make it to the big counselor gathering, so that they together for their own little party. The night before the Winter Weekend Sean, Josh, JP, Josh and Rachael Silver, Sophie and Meg had fun a local Boston trivia night, while Katie, Julie, Anne Delia Sharkey and Sophie Pymm were together for a night out on the town.
We just love seeing how much the camp friends you made during your summer at our brother-sister summer camp in NH mean to you, and the great lengths you all go to spend time with one another. There really is something about the friendships that are made at our summer camp!
