At K&E, a 3:1 camper-to-counselor ratio isn’t just a number. It’s a promise that your child will be known, not just supervised.

Here’s the trade-off parents rarely hear: you can fill a camp with specialists and world-class instructors, or you can fill it with counselors who deeply know your kid.

You can’t have both in equal measure.

We choose to make sure every camper has mentors who understand them, celebrate their quirks, and support their growth.

Longer sessions and time to know each other means staff undertand campers’ moods, strengths, and the moments they need encouragement or space.

If your child has an amazing day, someone notices. If they need a bit more encouragement, again, someone notices. Usually more than one person.

And yes, we still have activity experts, but here, the relationships come first.
