When it comes to summer camp, you have a pretty good idea what to expect: swimming, hiking, baseball, campfires, etc.
But what about movie making? Waterskiing? Archery? Guitar lessons? Rock Climbing? Musical theater?
At Camps Kenwood and Evergreen in New Hampshire, we have a different idea of what your summer camp experience should be. Camp should be about making new friends for the summer, and having them for life. Camp should be about confronting your fears, and conquering them. Camp should be about pushing yourself, and not being pushed around by others. Camp should be about discovering the outdoors, and discovering your best self.
Kenwood and Evergreen is more than just a camp: it’s a place our campers call home. Counselors and fellow campers (just like you) have made K+E a welcoming and comfortable environment where learning, fun, growth, new friendships, development, independence, and summer come together. You’ll be so comfortable at camp with our amazing support system that you’ll be itching to explore the world outside of your comfort zone.
Here it is: the full length summer 2016 video yearbook!
At K+E, we’ll help give you the tools to become that person you’ve always dreamt of being. Whether you want to be a slugger at baseball, an amazing artist, a quality leader, a rock star or just more confident in new situations, our community, activities, and counselors at our summer camp will help you grow every step of the way.
Throughout each weekday, you’ll be participating in countless activities of your choosing. That’s right: you get a variety of options to choose from, each and every day. Whether you want to focus on building furniture in the woodshop or if you want to mix it up and play some tennis after wakeboarding and basketball, it’s all up to you! At night, Camp stays alive with incredible evening activities that you could never do at home, like wrestling in 1,000 lbs of Jell-O or shooting a music video with your friends. On weekends, we pump up the energy level with special events like our music festival, and carnival, olympics and sports tournaments against other camps.
Sound like an amazing place to spend your summer? You’re not the only one: 93% of campers return for following years, so you don’t have to worry about staying out of touch with your Kenwood and Evergreen soul mates.
If you need a new copy of either the Kenwood 2014 Scroll or the Evergreen 2014 Log, our two camp yearbooks, please click on the links. The Summer 2014 Online Camper Survey is now also up, and if you haven’t had a chance please take a moment to share with us your thoughts on this past summer. We have also just made available the recordings from this summer’s Hollowpallooza music festival.
Our campers are extremely creative. Check out the first two editions of the Camps K&E Newscast from the summer of 2014. Both episodes were fully written, researched, edited and directed by our campers!

Please also check out some of our favorite short movies that they made for our Summer 2013 Junior Camp Film Festival! And if you’d like to watch the many videos from this year’s Film Festival please click here.
We also hope that you enjoy these two slideshows from the Summer of 2014 created by Sheila, our Camp Photographer.
Will I be happy there? Will I make friends?
